ActionCard: Next Steps · Effective date: September 21, 2026

The short version

Dudley Development, LLC operates ActionCard, a free action-item app supported by ads. There are no accounts. Your action text, owner names, due dates, notes, completion state, and history stay on your iPhone and are never sent to Dudley Development, Google, or another service.

What stays on your device

  • Action text and owner names.
  • Due dates and supporting notes.
  • Completion state and timestamps.
  • App settings and the local Remove Ads entitlement state.

ActionCard stores this information locally. Deleting the app removes its local data. Sharing an action uses the standard iOS share sheet and sends only the text or image you choose through the destination you choose; Dudley Development does not receive a copy.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version uses Google AdMob. ActionCard requests non-personalized ads, disables Google's publisher first-party identifier, and does not request Apple's tracking permission. No ad request is made in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or when the app cannot determine the device's region.

Where ads are allowed, Google's advertising software may process an IP address, device or app-scoped identifiers, coarse location inferred from the IP address, ad impressions and interactions, product interaction, performance data, and diagnostic information to deliver, limit, measure, and protect ads and provide app functionality. ActionCard never includes action text, owner names, dates, or notes in an ad request. Dudley Development does not run a separate analytics or crash-reporting service in this app.

  • Google's practices are described in Google's advertising policy and Google's privacy policy.
  • Interstitial ads appear only after natural breaks and are limited by session, time, and daily caps.
  • A one-time Remove Ads purchase removes both banner and interstitial ads.

App Store privacy label

ActionCard's App Store privacy answers conservatively disclose the data types and purposes declared by the bundled Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform software, including Device ID, Advertising Data, Coarse Location, Product Interaction, Crash Data, Performance Data, and Other Diagnostic Data. Google Mobile Ads declares Device ID for tracking, so the App Store label says the app may track even though ActionCard requests only non-personalized ads and does not show Apple's tracking permission prompt.

Purchases

Apple processes the Remove Ads purchase. Dudley Development does not receive your payment-card information. The app asks Apple's StoreKit service whether the purchase is active so it can remove ads and restore the entitlement on devices using the same Apple Account.

Children

ActionCard is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It has no accounts, profiles, chat, or user-submitted public content.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated policy will appear at this URL with a new effective date before the changed practice ships.
