Privacy Policy

This policy describes ClaimDesk version 1.1 and later.

The short version

ClaimDesk keeps track of claims you have already started (insurance, warranty, chargeback): who it's with, the reference number, its status, the next date you need to act, and a log of what happened. Your claims stay on your iPhone unless you choose to sign in so an AI assistant can work with them. The app has no ads and no tracking.

What stays on your device

  • The claims you add and the touches you log, including any proof notes.
  • Your reminder permission and, if you sign in, a sync token kept in the iOS Keychain.

If you never sign in, Dudley Development, LLC receives nothing. Deleting the app removes all of it.

If you sign in to use an AI assistant (optional)

Under Settings → AI assistant you can sign in with Apple or Google. We ask them for an account ID only: no name and no email. After you sign in:

  • your saved claims and touch logs sync to ClaimDesk's server at claimdesk.dudleyapps.com, where they are stored encrypted at rest in a vault that only your account can reach;
  • an AI assistant you connect (for example Claude, ChatGPT or Muse), after you approve it by signing in with the same account, can read those claims, set a claim to "waiting" or "needs me", log touches, and ask to close a claim. It can't add or delete claims, and nothing closes until you confirm it in the app;
  • we use this data only to provide the sync and the assistant connection. We don't sell it, share it for advertising, or use it to train models.

Sign out in the app to stop syncing from that iPhone. Delete hosted data in the same screen removes the server copy and disconnects every assistant immediately; claims on your iPhone stay. What an assistant does with the information it reads is governed by that assistant's own privacy policy.

Share sheet

When you share something into ClaimDesk it records a short note: the link, the start of the text, or a file's name and SHA-256 fingerprint. It doesn't copy the file.

Reminders

Next-action reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone, and only if you allow notifications. No push server is involved.

Purchases

ClaimDesk Pro, a one-time purchase, lets you track more than one open claim. Apple processes payment through StoreKit; we never see your payment details. Purchases can be restored from Settings.

Used to track you

Nothing. ClaimDesk has no advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not sell personal data.

Retention

Hosted data is kept until you delete it in the app. We also delete it on request by email.

Children

ClaimDesk is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated date above.
